Fruit Trees
Unlike deciduous trees that grow to their normal size, fruit trees are pruned on a regular basis (sometimes when dormant, sometimes in summer) not only to strike a balance between growth and fruit production, but to keep fruit within reach. And don’t forget that you might need two of the same tree species to produce fruits as not all trees are self-pollinators.
